The settings, for me at least, as easy to use and offer a wide range of choices. It has three control setting. When you want the light on, day time to night time, your choice anywhere in that time frame. How LONG you want the light to stay on once it senses motion (stays on the through all motion, the timer starts when the motion stops) from two to four minutes. I would say 45 seconds to five minutes is a little more accurate. And Sensitivity, from high to low. I want mine to pick up cars and people, so I set it to medium. So far the rabbits and skunks are still in the dark, my daughter has a lighted path from the driveway to the porch. It is easy to install, but you may want to get a little stronger 'mollys' if you live in a windy place or are installing it on sophit instead of wood. This does not happen with any of my other solar lights. Ofcourse I am moving around in front of the light, but somehow to me it seems that this should not be. So, if they are on a lot, it is not charged for the night. I have tried to change the settings, but to no avail yet. I will keep on trying. In short, it is an OK light, it will work, it is bright enought but for $20 to $30 more you will get a bigger and maybe better fixture. |
